…watching youtube videos of Disneyland and Universal Studios rides. They were shot by people while they were on them. I have been to a few of them myself and it’s nice to reminisce. Soon, let me tell you my story as someone who has avoided theme park rides since childhood to becoming a semi-courageous rider (semi because I still said, No, thank you, on the California Screamin’ roller coaster, Matterhorn Bobsleds, and the Hollywood Tower elevator ride – the rest, I was not afraid, there just wasn’t time, lol).
Here’s a good video of Splash Mountain. It was my first (and shortest) of the big drops and I terribly enjoyed it. I wonder how our Log Jam fares to it? Oh, it’s not my video ha! The big drop is at the 4:57 mark. I love the song that was on loop. Zip-a-dee-doo-dah, zip-a-dee-ay!
I watched both night and daytime POV shoots of the California Screamin’ roller coaster ride and I still cannot say if I can endure it. Here:
I’ve not been to Hongkong nor Tokyo Disneyland but I’m very curious to know how similar or how different each of them are to the one in California. Of course, nothing probably beats the one in Anaheim ‘no?
Similarly, I heard many stories that Universal Studios in Orlando is better than the one in LA. Really? There’s a Universal in Japan, too, and I kind of want to try it out. I just find a Japanese visa application too much of a hassle and not even Cebu Pacific promo fares to Osaka can make me think it’s worth it. Most especially now that Universal Studios in Singapore will open very soon!!!
Hay naku, ipon na, tara! =)
