moments

Manong moments. My first cab driver this morning has trouble written all over his forehead the moment I closed the car door.

Hahaha!! O baka kasi mukha syang bangag. Me ganung aura eh.

Nung ikatlong kanta ni Kenny, medyo malapit na rin kami sa Remedios Church, I don’t know what came to me at bigla kong nasabayan si Manong ng, “And she believes in me…I’ll never know just what she sees in me…”

I hope I will encounter more cool manongs soon.

I love my friends. Less than 24 hours after my Cotton Buds post, BTL messaged me and our other friends (other ha, hindi ALL. di ba nang-intriga pa ako) about it. See his e-mail subject? “2009 na magbago na kayo”. Hahaha!!!

Not everyone has said their piece yet but more than poking fun at each other’s life booboos, I loved the fact that I’m hearing from them.

I have other batch of friends, this time from college, from whom surprises after surprises have sprung since last week. I’m touched by the effort to reconnect even if they’re miles away.

Ah, one more day of work, work and work, then I can look forward to a nice cup of coffee while I either read or look at people (not in its creepy sense though) while waiting for Christmas to pass me by. One exciting part of my vacation that I can think of now is watching Ang Tanging Ina Nyong Lahat on the 26th. =)
