It is common for working students to be delinquent with school requirements. Of course, work should and would take first priority, if asked to choose between the two.
So this should come as a consolation to myself that it is nobody’s problem but mine once the repercussions of my academic habits start to surface. However, I will not drop my subjects. I will not just cave with report and paper deadlines because a similar deadline at work called my attention.
As much as I am thankful for all the intellectual stimulation, I cannot help but miss my laidback after-work activities. (Considering that reading-while-having-coffee or having DVD marathons bored the hell out of me that’s why I went back to school.) I guess you are prone to miss some activities when you don’t do them anymore.
